During the meeting, Chairman Zhang gave a comprehensive overview of the development of China’s elevator industry, its core competitive advantages, and future strategic planning. He emphasized the company’s continuous investment and innovation in elevator safety, noise reduction, and smooth operation technologies, including the world’s first “Feltless Elevator”. He expressed his hope to learn from the advanced technologies and management experience of Japanese enterprises to further promote comprehensive cooperation between companies of both nations. Zhang noted that this cooperation could become a powerful combination of “Made in China” and “Japanese Technology,” empowering future products. He also highlighted the potential to explore new mutually beneficial cooperation models, setting a valuable example for bilateral corporate partnerships in the future.

Former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama listened attentively, praised the achievements of Chinese elevator enterprises, and shared his insightful views on corporate management, brand building, and the potential for China-Japan technological cooperation.

As a gesture of respect and friendship, Chairman Zhang prepared meaningful gifts for Mr. Yukio Hatoyama at the conclusion of the meeting. He first presented a model of Fuji Elevator, a subsidiary of Yongxian Group, symbolizing prosperity, good fortune, and safety.

Chairman Zhang then presented another gift with Chinese cultural significance—the “Lantian Jade Roof Tile (Wadang)”. He explained that Lantian jade, one of China’s four famous jades, has a long history, while roof tile ornaments are the crystallization of ancient Chinese architectural wisdom, commonly used in palaces and important buildings to symbolize stability, auspiciousness, and heritage. This gift reflects the profound cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and embodies Yongxian Group’s solid foundation, pursuit of exceptional quality, and commitment to creating harmonious living environments. Former Prime Minister Hatoyama expressed his sincere gratitude and admired both the craftsmanship and the cultural meaning of the gift.
